The founder Tom Monaghan was at Patty&Bun from the very beginning and sent 10 years helping build the brand up. Having done what he could there, he decided to leave and start his own brand in 2023.
He took the food truck 'Shirley' with him and gave her a brand new look and revamped the kit inside. Since then Meltdown has done various festivals, private hire events and is now at the National Theatre. In the near future the plan is to find a more permanent spot of their own..
At Meltdown we aim to serve burgers and sides of the highest quality, and we only use ingredients that are UK sourced.
We work with an organisation called Farm Wilder. They have helped us source our beef from suppliers that use regenerative farming methods, making for a much more sustainable source of meat. For more info on Farm Wilder’s work visit: farmwilder.co.uk
